Pages clean and white. *Francis William Bain was a British writer of fantasy stories that he claimed were translated from Sanskrit [Wikipedia] however critics could not agree on whether they were originals or translations but since they conform to modern Edwardian modesty it is more likely that they were not from an original Indian manuscript which would have been far more sexually explicit.
