Henny Schlebusch

Henny Schlebusch is a technology executive, author and Professional Chief Information Officer (Pr.CIO) with more than two decades of experience across financial services, telecommunications, logistics and security. His career has included technology leadership across Africa, Europe and Asia-Pacific, leading organisations through transformation, cyber recovery, restructuring and large-scale change.

He is Vice President of the Global CIO Forum South Africa and has been recognised through the World CIO 200 programme.

His writing explores the intersection of technology, strategy, leadership and accountability. In The Cost Centre in the Corner: Why Strategy Fails When Technology Enters Too Late, he examines why organisations struggle when technology is treated as a downstream delivery function rather than part of strategy itself.
