Stephan Gärtner has spent many years working in the hospitality business, running his own bar and stage while collecting stories, encounters, and more than his fair share of human madness along the way.

Eventually, experiencing all of that from behind the bar wasn’t enough. So he started turning it into stories.

His books combine humor, eccentric characters, adventure, and a healthy dose of chaos. They take place in worlds where not everything has to make perfect sense, as long as it’s entertaining.

When he writes, Stephan follows his imagination more than any academic rulebook. With the help of modern AI, he turns his ideas, characters, and the occasional completely out-of-control notion into stories.

When Stephan isn’t writing, you’ll probably find him somewhere between the kitchen, the stage, music, and yet another project that really should have been finished by now.
