Ruth Danoff

Ruth Danoff is the founder of NotRUTHless, a community centered on compassion, self-trust, and resilience, particularly for women navigating midlife and late-diagnosed ADHD.

After decades of appearing to have it all together while privately feeling overwhelmed, Ruth was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50. The diagnosis became a turning point, giving her a new understanding of her experiences and helping her reframe years of self-doubt and confusion with greater compassion.

Ruth is the author of Holy ADHD: A Late Diagnosis, Loud Feelings and Divine Timing, a memoir exploring late ADHD diagnosis, emotional intensity, grief, identity, self-discovery, and the process of learning to see oneself with compassion rather than criticism. Her writing draws from her own experiences and reflects on what it means to understand your life through a new lens later in adulthood.

Ruth is also the creator of Arctic Undies, a line of wearable cooling underwear designed for women experiencing hot flashes, menopause, and temperature-related challenges.

She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she continues her work with NotRUTHless and remains passionate about creating spaces where people can feel understood, supported, and seen. She believes it is never too late to stop being ruthless with yourself and begin becoming who you truly are.
