Ray is a retired daily newspaper editor who worked at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, during summers off from college. The hotel was built and operated by the now defunct Great Northern Railway.
As a bartender serving guests at the hotel, he was asked a lot of questions about its history, and that of Waterton and its cross-border sibling, Glacier National Park in Montana.
As he likes to say, it’s now more than 50 years later and he’s still searching for answers.
Ray lives in Calgary, Alberta, where he keeps coming up with new writing projects.
