Luca Carraro

Luca Carraro was born in Dolo, in the province of Venice, in 1988. He lives in Veneto, works in the footwear supply chain, and writes online under the pseudonym ilbioss.

In his content, he writes about technology, work, everyday life, and change, with a direct, personal, and often ironic style.

Alongside this public voice, he cultivates a more intimate form of writing, connected to family relationships, memory, absences, and the fragilities that run through people’s lives.

Son of Rino and Maria Luisa, partner of Martina and father of Allegra and Beatrice, he brings into his writing his own life, the experiences he has lived through, and a concrete, human gaze, close to ordinary lives and their quietest cracks.

At the Threshold of Night is his first novel.
