Bound by Smith Settle in red and blue patterned cloth over boards with a buff oval printed paper label inset on the upper board. 16mo, 195 x 140 mm, pp. [48] with six linocut illustrations printed in reddish-brown. A book in Fine condition.

ONE OF 630 COPIES (from an overall edition of 650) printed on Zerkall Silurian mould-made paper, signed by the printer, John Randle, with 20 lino-cuts by Verity in ochre, modern bookplate, pp. 34, imperial 16mo, original floral patterned cloth by The Fine Bindery, with inset printed russet label, repeating frontispiece illustration, near fine. Written by Rose Randle's sister, Caroline, and dedicated to their mother's grandchildren. A companion edition to Aga Recipes, with the same illustrator, and similar format and style. The simply, playful illustrations - swinging games, rocking games, ducks, swans, cat, fiddle - are delightful.
