Quentin L. B. Smith is a screen writer who was born in the small town of Tifton, GA. At a young age he and his family moved to Florida where he hails Orlando as his home. Quentin attended Evans and West Orange High School where he was widely known as an avid athlete with a true passion for the game of basketball. After receiving multiple scholarships, he went on to attend Manatee State College in Bradenton-Sarasota, FL and later transferred to Lander University in Greenwood, SC.
After a devastating interruption to his athletic pursuits, Quentin found himself dealing with a constant world of conflict and isolation. During this dark period in his life, Quentin discovered an ability to escape the frustrations of his current situation and to push hope by creatively crafting characters and storylines. This initially started as a means to self-medicate this difficult space by allowing him to dig into his inner happiness. Believing this to be a true gift from God, Quentin has written and developed over seven scripts as well as filmed a short dramedy entitled Squatters, which was honorably recognized by the IndieFest. Adaleana and the Mute is a product of that difficult era and though originally written as a script, was later developed into a book with the hopes to bring it to the big screen in the form of an animation.
