Chris Dawson

Chris is the father of six children and a husband of over 40 years. He is currently a small businessman and has been a school teacher, school bus driver, over the road trucker and a prison counselor before becoming a childrens author of wonderfully illustrated books.

Chris began his storytelling in a big chair with his children gathered around and asking “Papa, please tell us a story from your mouth”. And away we would go! As the children grew in age, the stories became more lengthy and detailed.

His passion for the outdoors and the creatures that live there are the basis of this and many other stories which are to come. He wants young readers to experience the lives and needs of the amazing animals who share this planet with us.

As a childrens author Chris weaves the true characteristics of these animals into their natural habitats, while presenting to the children a very pleasant and enjoyable reading experience.
