Vintage publicity photograph from the 1944 film, showing actress and dancer Chinita. Printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901. Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and was the first still photographer to win an Academy Award. He went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures, where he worked well into the 1950s. In the days leading up to their arranged marriage, a bride discovers she is literally allergic to her husband-to-be. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good.
