Rachel Howard (1981) was born in Windsor, Ontario. She graduated with a BA in Literature from the University of Windsor in 2006. Upon graduation, Rachel accepted a job in South Korea teaching ESL to children of all ages, as well as tutoring adults. During her time in Asia, she enjoyed traveling and exploring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Japan, and Thailand. She moved to the United States in 2009.
Rachel wrote her first children's book "When Your Cookie Crumbles" in 2019. She drew upon her own experiences as a mother in cultivating this charming, metaphoric story that delves in to the vast psyche of a child and his or her emotions. "When Your Cookie Crumbles" has been featured on many resource sites, such as: Coping Skills for Kids, Too Cool for School - Virtual Kids Camps, 253 Parents Get Resourceful, Reading is Fundamental.org, and Gig Harbor Helping Neighbors.
