James Toller

I simply love writing and music. I write from the heart, directly to the hearts of my readers. I write from varying character view points, and from both, the male and female perspectives. I also compose music for my books, and I provide free sheet music of the varying pieces on my blog (JamesToller.blogspot.com).

I had traveled much in my youth, and I have always been an introverted observer of people. I am fascinated by what drives us as human beings, and much of what I write, I have directly experienced. I also love, love. It is one of our greatest motivators and pleasures in life. I have experienced, love at first sight, a deep and magical love, love lost, and the great healing from living with an open and loving heart. Through it, our lives gain a great heightening of all our senses. And by living life filled with love, we deeply appreciate all of life's great simple pleasures.

I write much from direct experience in life. Of course, the settings and names are changed, and I usually write metaphorically. However, all of the emotions I write about, I have lived. There is no need for me to use my imagination when writing of the deep emotions in my books. I have been there. And, most importantly, the depth of love expressed through my characters is a reality all may experience if you but live your life with a pure and open heart.
