Jali Henry

Jali Henry has been writing for a lifetime. Born in the UK to a South African father and a British mother, she’s always had a knack for imagining fantastical things. Her first book, which spanned only a few pages, was written at the age of 7. Jali and her friends also put on a play based on the book. While the play’s performance descended into a hilarious chaos that only children can create, it also led to a lifelong pursuit of creativity.

Jali writes paranormal & urban fantasy books with diverse characters which pair social realism with magical elements. She lives in Walthamstow, London, with her husband, two daughters and their grandmother.
