Meara O'Hara

Meara O’Hara was born in Stuttgart, Germany. Her first book – a memoir of her childhood in a cult and her subsequent escape from it – was released in 2020 under the Frabjous Press imprint.

She holds a degree in archaeology from the University of Vienna and is currently a student of psychology and psychotherapy at the University of Mainz. She has backpacked through 30 countries (so far) and her greatest passion lies in exploring, learning and understanding the world and the people around her.

She has stated that some of her most creative writing was done during nightshifts as a hostel manager.
