Very scarce, printed by Current Science magazine in 1937 with essays on the state of the art science of canal rays (the discovery of which led to the discovery of isotopes). Contributors include Venkatesachar, Heinrich Freiherr Rausch von Traubenberg; Dr. R. Dopel; Dr. B. Dasannacharya; Dr. Rudolf Ritschl; Dr. E. Ruchardt; Dr. F.W. Aston; Dr. J.D. Cockcroft, with a short essay on Eugen Goldstein (1850-1930). Library buckram blue cloth binding is shelf worn and a bit faded, spine gilt is bright. Library stamps and pocket (for some reason, the library classified it under Zoology!), frontis tissue guard is ripped, paper generally bit browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. ; Ex-Library; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Printed wrappers. = The first paper includes the description of a new species and a new subspecies. Disbound from the Society's Journal, volume 27(1), with in the rear another leaf with four herpetological notes by by F. Wall, S. H. Prater and C. E. Luard, and the issue's wrappers. The second paper is trimmed, without wrappers. It deals with frogs too. Very good, clean copies.
