Glen is passionate about health and dieting.
Glen’s words of advice:
I believe that the secret to becoming successful in life is taking it one step at a time, do not look at the challenge just concentrate on getting through each step at a time, learning from your mistakes as you go forward. By doing this, you will reach your goal. Remember, quitters never win and winners never quit. Also, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Your perseverance is the key to success. You can only go forward with your life using your perseverance. Never be afraid of perseverance. Your perseverance will never kill you. But it will strengthen you and make you more powerful.
In kindergarten, they gave me an IQ test, and the teachers said I was retarded, which followed me until my next IQ test in high school. By then it has already done the damage. I have been a Texas cowboy, deckhand, shrimper, roughneck, construction worker, a jack of all trades including becoming a Salvation Army Officer. Health and aging have been a hobby of mine, I'm also interested in science, history, archeology and now writing books.
With the help of The Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center, I could get on a State program to receive a gallbladder operation, that had caused years of pain, the operation saved my life; I was 29 and homeless. They also help me find a job. That is when I studied health and alternative medicine. Let us skip my marriage it only lasted 20 years. I have been on the Internet since it started. My first site was "The American Crusader" and I had some articles published in an Internet magazine.
Everything was going fine till I had a head-on collision with a truck and trailer that had jack-knifed and hit me head on. Was bedridden for 2 years becoming a diabetic. I couldn't work so I retired early. I'm 75 now and going for 100+ and a published author a dream come true.
Yours,
Glen Goodrum
