Eugene Davis

With over 30 years of government service, Eugene Davis retired from the U.S. Border Patrol as the Deputy Chief of the Blaine sector in NW Washington State. In 1971 he began his career as a journeyman agent on the U.S.-Mexico border and later transferred up to the Canadian border, where he subsequently helped manage the successful response to the Millennium Bomber terrorist case and the initial apprehension of the Brooklyn Bomber--who'd been intent on blowing up a NYC subway. Over the many years of Deputy Chief Davis's exemplary career, he received numerous outstanding-service commendations from his INS superiors, along with several letters of appreciation from the FBI for his exceptional number of apprehensions per a series of coordinated law enforcement efforts with the Justice Department. Deputy Chief Davis was also instrumental in the formulation of the very first Integrated Border Enforcement Team with Canada; and he testified before several Congressional committees in regards to illegal immigration and the need for enhanced border security, earning him thank you letters from Congressman Lamar Smith and Senator Carl Levin.
