Kay Uwe Rott

My name is Kay-Uwe Rott. I was born on 11.12.1958 in Kulmbach, Germany. I grew up in this little town from 1958 to 1969. In 1969 my father took over a new job. Due to competition clauses at that time we had to move to Munich. I have lived and worked in Munich since 1969.

My career then led me into the world of media in 1987. Below is a brief summary:

1996 - 2017 Visionworks Medienprogramme (Owner/Founder)

Beside this I am trying to create my own music, panting and now writing.

I live in a small village very close to Munich, German.

Kay Uwe is a well known director, composer, editor, producer, writer and editor.

He started his career at Bavaria Film Studios. Uwe is working worldwide for the TV broadcasts of sporting events and TV shows He is als a very sought-after designer for live shows and has created a number of shows for major companies, such as Sony, Suzuki, Volkswagen, 20th Century Fox, Disney and many more. Some of his most prominent clients include Thomas Gottschalk, The Scorpions, Snap, Placido Domingo, Peter Fonda and Bianca Jagger.

Uwe is one of the first to have implemented a huge water projection on the open sea. A 360 degree music performance in Portugal. This exciting project also included several musicians particularly trained for this event. All contents of this performance were created and implemented by Uwe. As next step in his outstanding career Uwe will write the libretto and compose the music for a new ballet.
