Erin Brewer PhD

Erin grew up in Salt Lake City where she had inspiring high-school teachers who took the time to teach her more than academics.

She went on to earn a B.S. from Hampshire College. After getting her Master’s and Ph.D. from Utah State University, she was a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher for about ten years.

During this time she also volunteered at a number of local agencies and ran her own produce business. She writes the Post-Feminism blog and is the creator of “Choose Your Own Diagnosis,” a video series that explores various mental disorders from the DSM-5 (American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders).
