Daniel Bovensiepen

Daniel Bovensiepen was born in Berlin, Germany. In 2001 he left his hometown to travel the world. Since 2011 he has permanently settled in Beijing, China. As a Senior Research Scientist for Industrial Systems and a Ruby and mruby core committer he has a fairly unique usage pattern of modern programming languages. His first book "Ruby. Das Einsteigerseminar" provided an introduction to the Ruby Programming Language itself. He is currently working on his second book which will explore the usage of Ruby in a new technology domain.
