Dominic received a Bachelor of Laws with honors from Bond University (Australia) in 2011 and his Master of Laws from the University of Zurich (magna cum laude) in 2013. In the same year he was admitted to the New York bar. He was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School from 2014 -2015 (research on electronic discovery). In 2016, he carried out a qualitative data protection study in Silicon Valley on "Transatlantic Data Protection in Practice". He completed his Ph.D. with honors on "Data Protection Compliance in the Cloud" at the University of Zurich in 2017. Currently he is the Director of the Institute for Data Protection and Data Security in Switzerland and advises multinational enterprises on data protection and the development of compliance software.
