Dr. David Malick Dieng

David Malick Dieng was born on January 27th 1983 in Senegal, a French speaking country located in West Africa. During his high school years, he fell in love with the English language, and started writing poetry. At the age of 19, he went to United States to get a better education. While living in New York City, David is trapped between a fast moving culture and his African beliefs. Even though, his first book the Dark Artefact is a fiction, the author is trying to build a spiritual bridge between Africa and North America. He witnessed how the drug cartels were contributing to the violence invading the beautiful cities. He saw many people being sent to prison for life, or getting killed. To run away from the harsh realities of cities, he moved to a small town called Moline in Illinois. After almost 10 years in the United States he went back to the Mother Land to contribute to the development of Africa. Today he is a University Lecturer, and a consultant in business strategy.
