Nina Schmid

Nina Schmid is an architect with love and respect for harmony and for abundance, both in her buildings and most of all in life. She finds her strength in the conviction that beauty and goodness are embedded in everything, and if we just look and listen with all our senses the miracles around us, small and large, make our lives worth living and let us overcome the direst situations. She studied in France and Austria, has worked in Italy and is the recipient of many architecture awards. She is co-owner of a philosophy site and engages in creating more overall awareness. When her family was stricken by "an appalling blow of fate" a few years back, she felt hopeless, helpless and very fearful. To help her children overcome the trauma, she bought a dog: Hoomy. Over the years and after having recovered, Hoomy inspired Nina to write a book about the secrets of life. The "anagram of god is dog" is Nina's first book.
