The author works at LichtBlick SE, Germany’s market leader in supplying green energy, as legal expert since 2006. He became general counsel in 2015 and manages the legal department. After earning a law degree (first state examination) at the University of Greifswald, he took the second state examination in the district of the Higher Regional Court in Celle. In addition, Markus Adam holds a Master’s degree in competition and regulatory law.
He lives in Hamburg, is happily married and has a son. When not working for the energy transition or spending time with his family, he enjoys road cycling and is known to attend the occasional LARP event.
