Marius-Christian Frunza

Dr Marius-Cristian Frunza is the founder of Schwarzthal Tech, a London-based Regtech start-up building an AI-driven real-time platform providing financial crime intelligence. He is specialised in expert witness in law for litigations, disputes and financial crime. He has over 15 years of investment banking and asset management experience specialising in compliance and risk management. Dr Frunza was the head of structuring with the commodities brokerage arm of Caisse des Depots, a reputed French publicly-owned bank. His four books about financial crime, issued by renowned publishing houses, set the seal on his notoriety in this field. He holds a PhD in mathematics from the reputed Paris Sorbonne University. Dr Frunza had a guest appearance as an expert in decrypting financial crime in one Netflix’s most popular true-crime films: Lords of Scam
