Hi! I'm Anthony Pardoe. Thank you for getting this far!

I love writing exciting humorous children's adventure stories - and I hope you enjoy my new trilogy "Star Sapphire and the Land of Gems", set in a fantasy land of gemstones and crystals - where kindness and treachery go hand in hand!

I live in South West England, near the Atlantic Coast, with my wife Suzanne who is my guiding light and support - and who helps to write the books.

I've always loved rocks, crystals, silver and gold, and after devoting the first ten years of my life to IT, during which time I was sent to the US and most of Europe as a troublemaker - sorry, troubleshooter - for IBM and then Memorex, I gave it all up to open my own crystal shop, and become a silversmith.

My spare time was devoted to exploring old mines, gold panning, cutting agates, flying and playing my melodeon at folk music sessions - and collecting rocks and minerals whenever I could! Not that I had much spare time, running my own two shops and making my own hand-crafted silver jewellery.

Having written for pleasure all my life, I decided to embark upon yet another new career - this time as an author writing children's adventure, humorous short stories and thrillers!
