Anjali Pathak is a chef, food writer and cookery teacher living in London. Having learnt the basics of Indian cookery from a young age, Anjali has stepped out of her heritage and works with spice and flavours from across the globe. Her cooking style is simple and contemporary and her modern approach transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary through her use of spice.
She happens to be the next generation of a family that brought Indian cuisine into households around the world - Patak's. After completing a business degree at university, Anjali joined the family business to learn the tricks of the trade. A few years later her desire to study food professionally took over and she attended the prestigious Leiths School of Food & Wine. She went onto gain a distinction from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and a diploma in Diet & Nutrition, and now she regularly appears on television across the world.
Anjali continues to go from strength to strength, writing for international food and lifestyle media and her cookery masterclasses are always a sell out.
She writes a popular blog on her website www.anjalipathak.com, and you can follow Anjali on Twitter and Instagram @anjali_pathak.
