Yolanda Kelly

Yolanda Kelly was born in Texas and served in the US military for eleven years following her graduation from High School. This was followed by many opportunities to teach kindergarten age children in the classroom. She often quips that the reason she understands their young fertile minds so well is that hers is just like theirs. Yolanda and her husband of over 30 years make their home on an island in Alaska and have two adult children. She and her husband enjoy flying in their small Cessna airplane, and it is this love and the richness of Alaska that is the backdrop and much of the inspiration for Gus and his adventures.
