Having visited more than 70 countries (and still counting), Amber travels With Husband In Tow. Together, she and her husband, Eric, seek new adventures in food as they travel on their stomachs. Amber launched their culinary travel blog in 2012.
Amber is a recovering tax attorney from the largest law firm in the world. After practicing for ten years it was clear a change was needed. Her travel blog started as a way to keep friends and family informed of where in the world Amber and Eric were traveling. Then, it turned into a passion, a passion for eating, and helping others explore the world through food. “Food travel” became a way of life for them, and the culinary travel blog became an extension of this passion.
The couple splits their time between Asia and Europe. Amber loves the food in Asia – the combination of fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and the fantastic mix of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy.
But, when in Asia, she misses Europe. The food. The wine. The history. Over the past four years Amber and Eric have clocked many hours dedicated to researching the food culture of Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and of course, Italy. But, Emilia Romagna really tugged at their heart strings. There was something about the undiscovered food region that made Emilia Romagna the obvious choice for her first culinary travel guide.
