He has traveled the world as a businessman and a self-appointed anthropologist, geographer and sociologist. Steven made it a habit to take long walks in each place he visited and did his best to get lost to allow himself the chance to become immersed in the local culture. At last count he has been fortunate to travel to more than 100 countries on nearly every continent on planet Earth. His vast knowledge and experience from his travels heavily influence his writings, research and lectures.
The timeliness of his travels took him to Saigon during the end of the Vietnam War, Vientiane (Laos) during a Coup de Tat, Beijing during Tiananmen Square Protests, Moscow during the Battle for Independence where Boris Yeltsin stood atop a tank and blew a hole in the side of the Russian White House.
As discussed in his memoirs "The Crooner and the Russian Mob" he was interrogated by the Russian KGB, worked side by side with the Russian Mafia and lived to share the tale with his readers.
He holds multiple degrees in Journalism, Theatre (Directing), Theology and International Studies (Transnational Crime and Corruption; Human Trafficking; Islamic Studies).
Books available at e-Kindle are on topics including but not limited to: Human Trafficking; Autism Spectrum Disorder; and the Church of Scientology
