Richard Hoeg

Rich Hoeg is an outdoor enthusiast who lives in northern Minnesota on a stream named Amity which roars down the hill to Lake Superior. He serves as a volunteer naturalist at the famous winter birding area, Sax-Zim Bog. Two of his passions are wildlife and night sky photography. When not out in the woods with his camera, you will often find him bike touring in the summer and Nordic skiing in the winter. Along with his wife Molly, he has bicycle toured over 11,000 miles throughout the world.
