Gerry McCann

Gerry McCann was a Franciscan monk for 40 years and a catholic priest for 33 years. His lifelong passion has been simply to help people in any way he can. He has huge life experience, and is anxious to share his wisdom with all those who can profit from this experience. He has worked as a monk, priest, missionary in Central America, parish priest, University Lecturer, teacher, healer, and itinerant preacher. He has made lifelong learning one of his commitments, and has obtained degrees in philosophy and psychology as well as a Masters in Theology in the USA. At the age of 58 he left the monastery to get married, and has enjoyed almost two decades of this new way of life, experiencing very different life challenges. He also qualified as a life coach, hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner. He still works as an author and has created an inspirational social media site, writing as Gerry McCann The Merry Monk.
