Wraps. Zustand: Good. Illustrated wraps. 32 pp., plus ads in the rear. Papyrus was a long running little magazine founded in 1903, well regarded by critics and others, including Ezra Pound. Monahan was noted for his literary and social criticism of American and European culture and literature (see MacLeod, American Little Magazines of the Fin de Siecle, pages 260-262). Single issue, with "The Old Woman" by Ivan Turgenev, as well as work by Leonard Merrick, William Ernest Henley and others. GOOD condition. General toning and minor soiling. Some wrinkling and creasing to the wrappers.
