Barbara Arens

Barbara Arens ist passionierte Klavierpädagogin. Im Alter von 13 Jahren begann sie ihre Ausbildung am Mozarteum in Salzburg. Es folgte eine Konzertkarriere vorwiegend als Cembalistin und Organistin.

Nun setzt sie ihre vielfältigen Erfahrungen und Kompetenzen um, indem sie für ihre Klavierschüler komponiert. Nach Stationen in Beirut, Dallas, San Francisco, Singapur, Salzburg, London und München lebt sie jetzt in der Nähe von Würzburg.

Sie veröffentlicht ihre Werke bei Breitkopf & Härtel, Editions Musica Ferrum London, Spartan Press Music und Stretta Music.

Barbara Arens is a passionately dedicated piano teacher. She began her studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg at the age of 13.

After a concert career performing primarily as harpsichordist and organist, Barbara Arens now puts her diverse abilities and experiences into composing for her piano pupils. She presently lives near Würzburg, Germany, after living in Beirut, Dallas, San Francisco, Singapore, Salzburg, London and Munich.

She publishes her music with Breitkopf & Härtel, Editions Musica Ferrum London, Spartan Press Music and Stretta Music.
