After false starts in third grade and during his sophomore year in college, Geuss picked up his pen upon retirement and began to write again. This is his first collection of short fiction.
Like his protagonists, he has traveled widely in the course of career stints as language teacher, social worker, software marketer, and translator. Geuss returned to the Chicago area in 2006 where he and his wife retired after living and working in Germany and Switzerland for sixteen years.
He considers their two married daughters and five grandchildren to be their proudest additions to the world.
Choral singing and European languages remain his other major passions.
