Mark McGinn

Mark McGinn was born a Kiwi and lives in Christchurch, a city close to a huge variety of outdoor recreation. He likes (more truthful to say, loves) red wine and chocolate, but they cause a tortuous inner conflict about the need for moderation and exercise. He’s also been known to cooking and can be found stalking some of the world’s greatest chefs.

He has a degree in applied management, majoring in human resources and business transformation, all entirely useless for writing crime stories. But his ego and rhino-like hide keep him at the keyboard. A past career in the law courts is also moderately helpful.

A story nerd, he loves analyzing the way stories are told and is a Story Grid certified editor who helps other crime writers tell great stories. He is the author of several novels including legal thrillers, a private detective novel, and soon to be published police detective thriller.
