Annette Bower

Annette Bower was born and grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, used to seeing miles toward the horizon. She became a nurse, and a town administrator, and an elected town councillor. She and her husband raised their sons in the resort town of Regina Beach, the setting of her novel Moving On.

Annette believes that home is where story begins, and she sets her short stories and novels in Saskatchewan, although she has traveled widely in Canada, the United States, Europe, and China.

While away, she likes to visit charity shops to assess what people donate to the less fortunate.

When at home, she rides her bicycle around the parks and lanes discovering interesting architecture and characters for her stories.

Annette enjoys writing contemporary women's fiction novels with an optimistic ending because she likes to escape into her writing as much as her readers do.

Please join Annette and discover her home province of Saskatchewan.

Annette is a member of the Romance Writers of America, the Saskatchewan Romance Writers, and the Saskatchewan Writers' Guild.
