Hello! I'm the author of the Concordia Wells mysteries, a series set in a fictitious 1890s women's college in Hartford, Connecticut. There are five books in the series so far: Dangerous and Unseemly, Unseemly Pursuits, Unseemly Ambition, Unseemly Haste, and Beloved and Unseemly (to be released November 1, 2016).

I'm a long-time mystery lover, and wanted to write my own. I drew upon my experiences as a professor of literature to create Concordia Wells, who is a lady professor-turned amateur sleuth. Thankfully, unlike Miss Wells, I've never had to conduct lectures in a bustle and full skirts. It's better that way.

I currently live in Virginia with my husband and sons, and when I'm not plotting murder and mayhem for my characters, I enjoy gardening, backyard bird-watching, baking and crafting.
