Janet Hannah was born in Canada and received a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from Rutgers University in The United States. She lives in Jerusalem and has published three mysteries featuring a Hungarian born biochemist. The first, The Wish to Kill, explores the possibility of killing by the power of thought. It begins with a death in a university research laboratory in Jerusalem. The second book, Murder with a French Accent, is set at a biotechnology company in Toulouse, France. In Mystery Time an American scientist dies at a professional meeting in Prague and an old watch is able to do more than tell time.
