Anna Nolan is a linguist/ grammarian and author/ blogger with a penchant for irreverent satire and humorous ditties. Her two burning passions are English grammar and mountains, both of which she indulges with utter abandon. After working as a teacher and broadcaster, she spent many years developing different types of qualifications in both England and Scotland, carrying out linguistic research, copy-editing and writing about English usage.
