Ron Brunk

Ron Brunk is an eccentric entertainer, singer, guitarist, and artist; and a prolific writer of songs, poetry, short stories and novels. Much of his work in the early years was considered 'underground' and he developed a loyal, cult following who appreciated his dark humor and often tongue-in-cheek approach.

Brunk's health issues have at times been clouded in obscurity, but it is known that he battles Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks, and Depression. He has also survived three life-threatening intestinal bleeds, which required blood transfusions and hospitalization. The cause of those bleeds remains a mystery.

Brunk's personal life has sometimes been the source of amusement to many, and even ridicule for some. He married and divorced the same woman three times, the third marriage occurring in Las Vegas and accompanied by an Elvis impersonator. That sometimes stormy relationship produced three wonderful children who have become happy and successful world travelers and adventurers.

Brunk was well-known for his consumption of large quantities of Absolut vodka in his 40's, often drinking a fifth of vodka per day for months at a time. It has been confirmed by some who were close to him during those years, that he usually carried a Smith & Wesson 9mm, an old Colt .45 caliber 9-shot, and a .22 Baretta pistol on his person.

Brunk also concurrently held two prestigious positions in the natural gas and coal industries throughout the 1990's. He managed a high-profile Experimental Multistrata Gas Well Research Project for Mountain State University, and was also Manager of GIS/Mapping Services and Director of Marketing at Caperton Energy, serving a variety of Fortune 500 clients in the Coal, Natural Gas, Railroad, and Utilities Industries.

As of this writing, Brunk resides in Nashville, TN, where he writes novels and songs, produces records, performs on-stage, and joyfully seizes every single moment of every single day.
