J.J. Ward

J.J. Ward lives and works in southern England and has been married for 34 years. He has two grown-up boys and a dog called Arthur Perrins. His hobbies include walking in the countryside, drinking tea in unusual locations, photography, and reading.

His Tales of MI7 series consists of ten self-contained novels, set in contemporary London and loosely linked by characters and timeline. It is not a "series" in the sense of a continuous narrative across different volumes: rather, readers can enjoy any one book without having read the others. Each is "full-length" in the traditional sense - 80,000 words or more - and set in the second decade of the 21st century. Together, they examine the major political, social, international and moral concerns of the day. Hopefully, in an entertaining way!
