K.A. Plouffe

K. A. Plouffe is a retired Air Force member who served in security and behavioral health specialties with assignments at nuclear missile sites, Air Force Survival School, and Cuban refugee camps in Panama. He has rank in a variety of martial arts and unarmed and armed combatives. He holds a BS and MS in Psychology and a MS in Counseling.

K. A. Plouffe has co-written several screenplays for ZERO|END™ productions. He has written a musical stage play, Dark Star, Star Light. He is the winner in the Visionary Fiction Division of the 2013 Beverly Hills Book Awards for the fantasy novel Annie's Odyssey. He has co-written two novels with Kris Michael McKenna: S.E.A. and The Getaway Conspiracy (set to release in 2026). He contributed two peer-reviewed journal articles on trauma to the professional field. He has provided editorial contributions to books and magazine articles. He continues to serve the community through his work in the mental health field and lives with his wife in Maine.
