Donald Stacy

I was born in a small midwestern town in Mo. But now live in Oregon. For thirty years I worked in the food industry. During that time I started as a cook at Harpy's Chicken Inn at the age of 9 years old and worked my way up to be a Chef for the Park Inn Hotel Chain. I have managed Steak Houses in Nevada, Mo. Seafood Restaurant in Newport Oregon and worked for the Park Inn Hotel Chain in Fayetteville Arkansas. I have feed such celebrities as country singers Holly Dunn, Tom Wopat, Keith Whitley, Rock singers Abba and political figures Walter Mondale, Al Gore and Wal- Mart founder Sam Walton just to name a few. I enjoy writing short poems about life,love,nature and nonsense. I have written poems over many years and I have published poetry all over the world with Loyd's of London and Sparrow Grass to name a few of the publishers. I have been featured in the Who's Who of Poetry and won numerous Editor Choice Awards.
