I knew digital would be my personal challenge of a lifetime, from the day I started working with Andreessen's Mosaic browser. It was beautiful and simple, yet powerful and comprehensive.

I am an 18-year veteran of corporate digital innovation and investing - with lot's of scars and bruises.

I currently co-run GMPVC, a media-for-equity fund I founded, which allows media groups to use their advertising inventory to invest in startups. I also am advisor at GfK, the global market research group. At IBM, I ran consulting services for the media industry in Europe, a job that was mostly about digital transformation.

My latest book, co-written with two friends, is SimplySeven. It is a guide to the seven business models of the web.
