Marta Querol

Marta Querol, española, nace y estudia en Valencia. Durante años se dedica al mundo empresarial como asesora en temas de organización, planificación y calidad hasta que un golpe vital la empuja a escribir y cambia el rumbo de su vida profesional. Con su primera novela, "El final del ave Fénix", y siendo una completa desconocida en el mundo literario, queda entre los diez finalistas del Premio Planeta entre un total de 469 obras presentadas.

A partir de ahí comienza a colaborar con el periódico valenciano Las Provincias y otras publicaciones locales.

Tras el éxito de la novela en papel, se lanza ahora a su difusión para Kindle mientras espera la publicación de la segunda novela.

"A veces la vida no te deja pararte a pensar cual es tu camino, simplemente avanzas a donde te lleva. Yo me paré y decidí. Quería escribir, y eso hago, lo mejor que sé."

After many years working for private companies as an external adviser and consultant in quality management and organization, she passed through a difficult experience and decided that writing was her real vocation.

With her first novel "El final del ave Fénix" she was a finalist in the 2007 "Premio Planeta" out of 469 entries; a very distinguished literary award in Spain and the more reknown in spanish letters.

Even though she was not one of the winners, being in sixth place elevated her in the book world.

"Sometimes life does not allowed you to stop and think which is your real way and you simply keep on moving forced by circumstances towards somewhere. I did stop one day and decided. I wanted to write, and that is what I do now, the better I can"
