J.W. Holmes

J.W. Holmes is a U.S. veteran, former businessman, broadcaster, producer, and author of Christian-related books and the sci-fi series, The Nordic. He is the former CEO of a FOX News radio affiliate. As a producer, he produced and hosted for a local ESPN program among several other independent shows. He is also a former assistant minister and a member of Stephen Ministries.

Holmes grew up in a Scandinavian-American family in northwest Indiana and speaks Norwegian with a limited working proficiency. He attended the private educational school of Lincoln College for a brief spell before leaving to pursue freelance journalism, broadcasting, and writing. His books include the comedy screenplay "Getting Even With Heaven", the poetry collection "Vanilla Rains", and the Christian novel "A Riff of His Own". "The Nordic" is his only science-fiction book which he plans to continue as a series with the future books in novel form.
