Após a mistura dos pós, foram preparadas amostras de disco com 14 mm de diâmetro e 5 mm de espessura, bem como amostras cilíndricas com 11 mm de diâmetro e 16,5 mm de comprimento, a 650 MPa como tensão de compactação adequada, de acordo com os resultados de porosidade e densidade aparente. A sinterização em forno de tubo de vácuo para todos os espécimes preparados foi efectuada utilizando duas fases de sinterização a uma temperatura de 500ºC durante uma hora e a segunda a 850ºC durante cinco horas. Foram efectuados ensaios físicos e mecânicos após a sinterização, que abrangeram a densidade aparente e a porosidade, a difração de raios X e a dureza, a resistência à compressão, o desgaste por deslizamento a seco e o efeito de forma. As caraterísticas da microestrutura foram também observadas com microscópio ótico e microscópio eletrónico de varrimento com espetrometria de raios X por dispersão de energia (EDX). Finalmente, foi utilizado o calorímetro diferencial de varrimento (DSC) para determinar a temperatura de transformação de fase para todas as ligas com aditivo.

He was born in Egypt studied under the most pre-eminent scholars and madrasas in Egypt and Syria, and soon acquired a reputation for his knowledge of the Muslim religious and philological sciences. He settled in Istanbul and gained favour with the Ottoman court. He is an accomplished composer of Arabic verse in his own right, Al-Abbasi was the main force in perpetuating the Arabic humanities during the heyday of the Ottoman empire. His chief legacy to posterity in his Ma'ahid al-Tansis, a commentary on the examples from the classical Arabic poetry (Shwahid) quoted in support of principles of literary criticism set forth in al-Khatib al-Qazwini's widely studied Talkhis al-Miftah.
