Ted Richards

Ted Richards has spent most of his life with his head in philosophy and his feet on the soccer pitch, which can get rather confusing. He has a PhD in Philosophy from Boston University, had a brief semi-pro career as a midfielder before returning to amateur ball, has refereed professional and collegiate games, and, at various times, has coached youth, ODP, high school and college teams. All this makes "Soccer and Philosophy" (his first book) a labor of love. He currently lives, teaches and trains in Pittsburgh, PA.
