Alexandre Vingtier

Alexandre Vingtier is a renown international expert and spirit judge for many French and international competitions. He is the founder and editor of Rumporter, the first magazine dedicated to rum and works for La Revue du Vin de France, French leading wine & spirit magazine since 1927. He was previously the editor in chief of the French edition of Whisky Magazine & Fine Spirits, widening this magazine dedicated to whisky to other fine spirits such as rum and cognac.

Alexander is also the author of "101 rums to discover" published in April 2014 by Dunod and "Whisky l'indispensable" published by Flammarion in 2009, written while he was Head of Selection of the very prestigious Paris-based La Maison du Whisky / LMDW Fine Spirits. He is also Cognac Educator and Ambassador of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in France, the largest whisky club tasting worldwide. Finally, he is in charge of the Innovations' Bar at Paris Cocktails Spirits, the French bar show.
